Our Services

Batting

The course teaches the complete repertoire of batting shots; front foot and back foot, defensive and offensive, straight bat and cross bat. Drives, glances, forward and backward defensive, cuts, hook and pull and the sweep shots are all practiced repeatedly in the course. Along with that basic techniques including taking guard, the stance, the grip, trigger movements and bat lift are honed in the batting sessions.

Fielding

Practicing Catching includes practicing the different types of catches such as high catches and slip catches. The course teaches the skills required for high catches including back pedaling, speed across the ground, soft hands, cup position and rolling with the ball. Slip and close catching practice involves how and where to stand, cupping the ball, dive and roll, etc. The course also covers different fielding setups, keeping fundamentals and throwing skills.

Fast Bowling

Detailed work on technique of bowling action including run-up, jump, delivery and follow through. The practice drills focus on rhythm and accuracy as well as on line andlength. Repeatable delivery of Yorkers, good length, bouncers, short of a length etc.

Medium Pace Bowling

The course involves learning the repetitive bowling of different types of deliveries – out swinger, in swinger, reverse swing, off cutter, leg cutter, seam bowling, bouncers, slower balls etc.

Spin Bowling

Detailed work on technique of bowling action including run-up , pivot, delivery and follow through. The practice drills focus on flight, loop, revolutions on the ball, drift, exact place to land the ball etc.

Fitness Training

Mental and physical attributes of a player are worked on including stamina, physical strength- stomach, shoulders and chest, aggression, patience and determination.

Regular Coaching

The Advanced Coaching program is targeted at 12-19 year olds. It includes match simulation and tournament practice. The program is conducted at the Mylapore Club and at the Nest.

Summer Camp

The Advanced Coaching program is targeted for all age. It includes match simulation and tournament practice. The program is conducted during summer holidays at Mylapore Club and at the Nest.
